Julius Roth Foundation

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Julius Roth Foundation?

The Julius Roth Foundation is a non-profit making organisation specialising in the formulation and production of preparations for sensitive and allergy-prone skin on an individual basis. In particular, the Foundation concentrates on preparations and protocols to relieve the symptoms of atopic eczema in children.

Do you only treat children?

Our work is child-centred, with an upper age limit of 18 to 20 years, although we are prepared to offer advice to those older than this.

Can I bring my child to the Foundation?

Children can be seen by appointment.  The first consultation takes approximately one hour and includes patch-testing.  The fee includes all subsequent consultations by telephone, or e-mail.  The initial fee is 85 pounds sterling.  Follow-up visits are 75 pounds sterling.

What is your success rate in treating eczema?

Each child's therapy is very much a partnership between the parents and the Foundation. Where the rigorous protocols are followed, including frequent contact with the Foundation, then we aim to alleviate the symptoms of atopic eczema in 80% of cases.

How long will the treatment take?

This will obviously vary from case to case but significant improvements are generally noticed by day 14 of treatment.

What will it cost me?

The initial registration fee is 50 pounds sterling for UK clients and 60 pounds sterling for overseas clients. This covers the cost of initial 'patch-testing', examination of the results, formulation of your child's therapy preparations and programme plus all subsequent consultation. The cost of the therapy itself will differ for each case but will be approximately two pounds sterling per day reducing as your child improves.

How much is 60 pounds sterling in dollars?

Due to the ever changing currency exchange rates, we cannot quote the charges in other currencies. However, details of the current exchange rates may be found here:- XE.com Personal Currency Assistant .

What information do you need from me?

When contacting the Foundation please be as specific as possible. Tell us the age of the child now, the precise diagnosis made by your physician or dermatologist, the medication prescribed, the body areas affected and the age of the child when the eczema started. In addition, tell us what you want us to do, for example send you our literature and registration form. If you do require our literature please ensure that you have supplied your full postal address.

What if I don't want to register?

While we are prepared to offer a note of general guidance by e-mail, our full resources are reserved for those who have registered as clients of the Foundation.

If I describe my symptoms, will you tell me if it is eczema?

The Foundation will not, under any circumstances, diagnose a condition. Diagnosis must always be made by your physician or dermatologist.

I filled in the form on your web page but I haven't heard from you yet. What's happened?

While we make every effort to deal with enquiries promptly please be patient. Approximately 10% of e-mail replies we send as a result of enquiries from the form on these pages are bounced due to invalid e-mail addresses. Please ensure that you enter all your details correctly.
